Description
The 2024 Diamond C FMAX212 102″x 40′ 25.9k Equipment Trailer With MAX Ramps Gooseneck Trailers is an equipment trailer, a hauler for the machines that make the money.
Working through the listed specification: The spec sheet records it as 102 x 40. It is rated at 25,900 lb GVWR. Recorded on the listing as 2024 Diamond C.
Loading is where the time goes on a busy day. Anything that lets one person load, strap and leave without waiting for a second pair of hands is worth real money over a season.
Resale on well-maintained haulers is consistently strong. Unlike most working equipment, a properly built unit that has been looked after tends to retain a meaningful share of its purchase price.
If the unit carries brakes, test them somewhere quiet before joining traffic. Getting the controller gain right makes a substantial difference to how the combination stops.
Wiring quality is a reliable proxy for overall build standard. Properly loomed, sealed and routed harnesses are the mark of a manufacturer thinking about year five.
The practical test of any hauler is how quickly it gets loaded on a wet morning when you are already late. Wide access, sensible tie-down points and a deck you can walk on matter far more day to day than any spec sheet figure.
Keep spare bulbs, a spare wheel and the right tools with the unit. A minor failure a long way from home is only minor if you can fix it there.
