Description
2025 Diamond C FMAX212 HDT 102″x 32′ 25.9k Hydraulic Dovetail Gooseneck Gooseneck Trailer — a hydraulic dovetail equipment trailer, a dovetail hauler that trades ramps for a control switch.
Confirmed details: The spec sheet records it as 102 x 32. It is rated at 25,900 lb GVWR. Recorded on the listing as 2025 Diamond C.
Towing it does not require a specialist truck so much as an honest assessment of what the truck can actually pull. Match the tow vehicle to the loaded weight and everything downstream gets easier.
Braking requirements are set by loaded weight and vary by state. It is worth knowing where a given unit falls before you buy, because retrofitting brakes is considerably more expensive than specifying them at the outset.
Retorque the wheel nuts after the first loaded journey and periodically afterwards. It takes two minutes and prevents the single most avoidable roadside failure.
Spare wheel provision is one of those details that seems trivial until it is not. Trailer tires are not always easy to source at short notice on a Sunday a long way from home.
Out on the road it behaves the way a well-matched hauler should: load it evenly, set the tie-downs properly and it tracks behind the truck without demanding constant attention. Most of what makes a trailer pleasant to live with is decided at the loading stage rather than the driving one.
